GM vehicles offer a manual Engine Stop Start Disable (ESS) pushbutton, but every time you restart your vehicle you have to press the button if you would like to disable the ESS. If you dislike ESS and are in and out of the car several times a day, have trouble remembering to press the silly button, or simply hate the idea of this feature, this product may be for you.

Does this products void your vehicle warranty?
Per the Magnusson-Moss Warranty Act, a manufacturer can only deny a warranty claim when an aftermarket component is installed if the dealer or manufacturer can prove that the aftermarket component caused the failure. To avoid any possible questions ever arising from lack of knowledge of this product by the servicing dealer, it is recommended to remove the module prior to bringing the vehicle in for any service.

My turck is a 2023 Colorado.
I installed it this morning. It took about 30 minutes with 15 minutes trying to get the connector open. Finally, I used my small vice grips to squeeze the GM connector so it would open. The module was well packaged and well written instructions were included with colored and highlighted photos along with a Velcro mounting pad, wire ties, a 10mm nut and wrench. The only things that you need to supply, if you have strong fingers, are a flash light and alcohol to clean the area for the Velcro patch. It works as advertised.
