Introducing Our New Shop Car: 2026 Corvette 2LT Coupe – Torch Red
Apr 24th 2026

If you’ve been around us for a while, you know we’re car people first. The business grew out of that passion, and every once in a while, a car comes along that just feels right for the shop.
This is one of those.
We recently added a 2026 Chevrolet Corvette 2LT Coupe in Torch Red to the lineup, and honestly—it’s been hard to stop staring at it.
Why This Car?
We didn’t go into this looking for just any car. We wanted something we could actually enjoy driving, but also use as a platform to test products, try ideas, and share that process with you.
The C8 Corvette made a lot of sense. The mid-engine layout completely changed how these cars feel, and after spending some time with it, you understand why people talk about it the way they do.
It feels planted, responsive, and a lot more “serious” than Corvettes from the past.
The Way We Spec’d It
We spent some time going back and forth on options, trying to build something that felt right without going overboard.
We ended up going with the Z51 Performance Package, mainly because we wanted the car to feel as capable as it looks. The upgraded suspension, brakes, and overall setup just make the car more fun to drive.
From there, a lot of the choices came down to details.
On the outside:
- Torch Red (had to be)
- Carbon Flash mirrors and spoiler to break things up a bit
- 20-spoke Midnight Gray forged wheels with a red stripe
- Red brake calipers
- Black lug nuts and black exhaust tips
Nothing too crazy—just small things that come together really well in person.
We also added front radiator grille screens, which is one of those practical things that just makes sense, especially if you actually plan on driving the car.
Inside the Car
The interior is probably one of our favorite parts.
We went with:
- GT2 bucket seats
- 2-tone Adrenaline Red interior
- Torch Red seat belts
- Stealth interior trim
It’s definitely bold, but it fits the car. Once you’re sitting in it, everything feels driver-focused without being overcomplicated.
Why 2LT?
We’ve always liked cars that strike a balance, and the 2LT trim does that really well.
You get the comfort features like heated and cooled seats, better sound system, and all the camera tech—but it still feels like a driver’s car. Nothing about it feels overdone.
What We’ll Be Doing With It
This isn’t just a “park it in the corner and look at it” kind of car.
We’re planning to actually use it:
- Test fitting new products
- Shoot content
- Try out ideas before we release anything
- Bring it out to events
It’ll basically become part of the day-to-day around here.
What’s Next
We’re not in a rush to change everything right away. We want to spend some time with the car first, get a feel for it, and then start making changes that actually make sense.
That said, you’ll definitely see:
- A few subtle upgrades
- Some functional additions
- And probably a couple things we’ve been wanting to try for a while
Final Thoughts
At the end of the day, this is just a car we’re excited about.
It fits what we like, it fits what we do, and it gives us something new to build around and share with you.
If you’re into Corvettes—or just enjoy seeing how things come together over time—you’ll probably enjoy following this one.
More to come soon......
