The Autostop Eliminator is an intelligent device for the auto start/stop system that plugs into the back of your Chevrolet Colorado's auto stop-start switch assembly. It restores your preference for auto start-stop automatically which eliminates the need to press the disable button after each ignition cycle.

Our switch-based design avoids all of the negative side effects because it interacts with the vehicle exactly as GM intended, at the switch. Don't be fooled by the hacks that:

• Require warranty voiding software changes
• Drain the battery
• Disable Active Fuel Management (AFM)
• Keep the vehicle in "diagnostic mode" which disables the malfunction indicator light (check-engine light) and can interfere with airbag functionality. (Every GM diagnostic port auto start/stop device we've seen has this major flaw.)
• Hack the battery management system, which can impact system updates and heated seat functionality. (Every GM battery-based auto start/stop device we've seen has this major flaw.)
• Interfere with remote start systems (Occasionally, people will confuse our device with others that have had issues with remote start. We have never sold a device for any vehicle that has interfered with a factory remote start system.)

Beware of the knockoffs sold elsewhere as "Start/Stop Eliminators". These are not authentic Autostop Eliminators.

Installation:

Accessing the back of the auto start/stop switch on the Chevrolet Colorado is trivial. The connector that GM uses has a tendency to resist releasing, which makes it nearly impossible to detach with your fingers. That's why we created and included a custom tool in the kit that makes detaching the connector a breeze. Installations usually take about 5 minutes or less.
