I have a couple VWs, and always buy their "Bumperdillo" rear bumper protectors. I was surprised to find that Audi doesn't offer such an aftermarket product like VW does. I found the ZIC alternative via the Googler on the Interwebs, and decided to give it a try. It looks very similar to the ones I put on my VWs, except they were plastic and the ZIC protector is stainless steel.

It looks and fits perfect - the stainless blends right in with all the chrome bling on the rear of the Allroad. Installation was a snap, basically just clean the bumper with the included alcohol pad and use the pre-installed 3M foam tape strips to attach it.

The only thing I worry a little about is that the stainless may be easier to dent than the plastic bumper guards I got for my VWs, but they certainly won't crack like the plastic might.

Very easy to install. Effective protection. Only three concerns: The plate could be wider because it leaves a space at the back where dirt accumulates; the front lip could be deeper and the emboss doesn’t match the Audi pattern. I suspect there could be good reasons why. Just a thought.
