M2 License plate bracket
Nits: the back of the plate holder bears against the bumper; a piece of adhesive Velcro as a pad fixes that. The holes in the mounting bracket need plugs so that when driving without plate, they don't accumulate road grit. The spring-loaded pin should be coated against corrosion; it isn't, and failure to oil it voids the warranty. Wrapping it with oil-soaked cloth wrapped with electrical tape protects it, and electrical tape over the mounting bracket holes protects them, as well. The mounting bolt will angle in unless you use a socket extension (for a drill), or a hand socket - the lower bumper extension is in the way. Seems solid, works. Need to mount a little forward of the grille; flush with grille is too tight, requiring padding to avoid contact with bumper. Attachment bolt is hex head only; would be handy if it also had a Philips slot for those without a metric socket set. Worth the price. Would buy again. Does the job.
