GM vehicles offer a manual Engine Stop Start Disable (ESS) pushbutton, but every time you restart your vehicle you have to press the button if you would like to disable the ESS. If you dislike ESS and are in and out of the car several times a day, have trouble remembering to press the silly button, or simply hate the idea of this feature, this product may be for you.

Auto stop override
I cannot express how thrilled I am with this device. My 2021 Chevy Traverse has no option button to shut off the auto stop and I have to say it was irritating every time I stopped the car and it would shut off due to the stupid auto stop feature. I purchased this item and installed it myself. Best part is you don’t have to pull apart the console, it goes right on the battery. One thing I noticed since putting it on is that my heated seats don’t go on automatically when I sit down and heated steering wheel doesn’t automatically go on when temp is frigid but I don’t care about that. I actually prefer it. If I need heat I push the button myself. I don’t need my car to make decisions for me. So I give this device an A++++++++++ Game changer for sure!!!!

The ESS override for my Traverse was extremely easy to install and works great. The part came with easy to read instructions and the wrench that was needed to install it. Would highly recommend zicmoto parts to anyone.
